Anti-Conservative Hate Speech
The following email was sent out this past weekend on a campus wide email forum. The author, Mr. Chang said some awful personal remarks criticizing previous comments by Republican student Adam Marvin in this email:
As FIRE points out on their site speechcodes.org Colby has a very restrictive speech code. While the concept of speech codes is something that troubles me greatly, I hope to see Colby enforce its speech code in this case as the only thing worse than a restrictive speech code is one that is only selectively enforced.

Adam, there are a couple of things that I want to get off my chest, which "the greatest nation in the world" entitles me the right to do so. No the greatest nation in the world is the land of your mom's pussy, which I take a trip to every fucking weekend. Get the fucking didlo out of your ass and realize that 3.125673% of all Colby students give a flying fuck about what you have to say. Furthermore, 99.999999% of Colby students probably think your a fucking dumbass. You are the most arrogant piece of shit that I have heard of. In fact, the shit that comes out of my fucking ass has more humility than you do, you fucking little piece of republican garbage. Its little white, bigot, dipshits like yourself that fucking ruin this otherwise great nation of ours. You might ass well go to fucking Washington, make a pitstop the white house, pull a Monica and suck Bush's dick.

If this absolute filth was really written, and submitted by this cockroach named chang, then there is but one thing to do with him. Either put him in a mental institution, or deport him to some backward, primitive country like Iran or Somalia where they would behead him for speaking. He does not deserve to live in this country. This is MY country, and not his...period.

About everything I have come to expect from the nuanced enlightened and tolerant left. There is absolutely no doubt on my mind that words like these will be excused, after all, its only crude and hatefull when expressed by anyone with a less than liberal viewpoint.

Hmm...I got out of this that the "writer" is angry. I also got out of it that he has no concept of simple arithmetic, as 99.999999 + 3.125673 = 103.125672. That's, of course, if he didn't mean that the 3.125672% of the student population who both cared and thought he was a dingbat only cared about what the original writer had to say because they wanted some proof that he is a dingbat--which is not necessarily consistent. If I think someone's a dingbat, I don't usually bother with what he has to say unless it's pressing.
Further, I was not aware that a school such as Colby had in the neighborhood of 100,000,000 students--which would be required to arrive at a 99.999999% figure without somebody on campus suffering from multiple personality disorder AND having those personalities disagree.
Or am I overanalyzing this?

He is absolutely right. Republicans are stuck up, upperclass and bordering on Fascist. I am a devout Christian from England, and I've had enough of the Satanic rantings of the Right Wing in America. You say 'In God We Trust' on your coins, and yet Jesus taught against violence at any level; but you Republicans follow Bush to a pointless war in Iraq. You disgrace God's holy name. I will vote Liberal Democrat in England, a party similar, but more Left Wing than the Democrats in America. What do you mean 'some backward country like Iran'?! That line ecapsulates everything I hate about the Right Wing- you can't see past the end of your own nose.
